Ok, so I haven't updated in a while. In fact, I don't expect anyone to read this any more - or those who have persisted with their RSS feeds, to fall over in shock when they see my name popping up again. But I am back... now with more chocolate.
I have been pretty slack with Finlay's blog too. Ok, so I post the odd moblog photograph. But whoopdedoo. He's meant to be able to look at his blog as a memory of times when... well, when he didn't have memories. So I have failed there too. I do have posts up my sleeve, just not the time to put them into digital words.
Why? Work... although that is coming to an end (thank goodness - the commute is just killing me. 4hrs a day is just obscene - even if it's just once or twice a week). Finlay - he's only small but he's a handful, and will become more so. It's a constant whirl of feeding, but it's all good. I tried ready-made baby food but he wasn't having any of it, so I am glued to the steamer/blender combo and have apron strings firmly tied.
But I read a few select blogs when I get the time (usually at the expense of Finlay/Daddy/reading/cooking time), and they manage - so I will pull my thumb out and do my best. Oh, and do a redesign too at some point - I am hating the current one, and I need to brush up my CSS skillz for some work coming my way.
And my brain has too much to process now without writing it down, getting it out of my head. I know this blog used to be more of a travel blog, and a lot of people won't really care to read it - but that's ok too. And it might stop me eating so much chocolate.
As if.
